Anyone else get anxiety to play 1v1 multiplayer so you just don't play it?

100% lmao. Have sat at the screen contemplating it for 30-40 minutes at a time, just to end up queing for 3v3 or 4v4 lol

Kinda yeah but it's mostly because I don't have fun while playing 1v1 but hey, playing with a friend is really fun tho.

I rarely touch 1v1 to be honest, i find team games in general more fun even outside the RTS genre.

Would be fun to do a custom 1v1 where the players agree on what role they want to play and then practice offense/defense situations

Well thats normal when you are not good at something.

But the truth is:
its a computer game
if you lose a 1v1 who cares ,)

You could go 0-10 in 1v1 and nobody in the world but yourself woul care.
so no reason to be afraid of anything

I play 4v4 almost exclusively and seldom 2v2 with a friend.

I don't do 1v1s because the games are too short and are often decided very quickly. Unlike team games, there's barely any room for comeback. Besides, battles are not as grand and epic.

So yeah, while I suppose it's a bit anxious, it's more of not being fun in the first place. I get it's "competetive" and the game is likely balanced with it in mind, but whatever.

lmao its not the fact of being good or not, its that people play differently in 1v1's than u do in 3's and 4's. Theres more explanations to fathom, other than just good or bad at the game being the sole reason.

If you're looking to play 1v1 but you get anxiety before playing, then I recommend doing a 2nd account and playing without any fear of losing games or points. After you've played a couple of 1v1, it can increase your confident of playing in your main account
