Ayo where the sauce at?
-From the dev stream. They also talked about their intention with some balance changes and how they see some things not playing out as they wanted and are further looking into other stuff they can do.
-The Delhi fixes should be next week too.
Oh nice! Can you link the stream? I'd like to check out the vod.

Much appreciated, boss!
As much as I'd love to see springalds nerfed, that can wait. But the abbassid bug is obviously game breaking. I don't see a reason to wait a week to fix it.
Cause the thing is, I don't think coding takes that long. I mean they just have to make a few techs function like every single other tech and the abbassid bug is fixed (some other stuff might take longer but that's the only one that's truly game breaking, although the ones for delhi suck pretty bad too). I bet they're done with the coding part and they're just waiting on the red tape part. But I have to wonder why is that red tape part there?
Microsoft is the bottle neck as they need to approve all patches/updates. The update we got yesterday was uploaded to steam on November 10th according to reddit. That is pre Genesis I think.
This info is very outdated, since 2018 Microsoft updated the Windows store certification process and nowadays it takes from a few hours to up 3 business days. You can check that info yourself from the app certification process docs.
I have to agree with you, after the rus exploit and abbasid bug i feel there isn't much QA testing happening with the game. I hope they can improve that, thankfully this time they're not taking a whole month to fix it.
How is something that just happened outdated?

Relic Devs have also mentioned it more than once in their streams.
People are just assuming that the patch sit there for a whole month because of the approval system system which is simply untrue. Unless Microsoft first party games have to wait for a whole month while third parties only takes 3 days which is very unlikely.

Both Steam and Windows Store doesn't take that long to approve patches.
