This is the Mongol way.
WOLOLOLOLOOO!
I think there should be a timer, it doesn't have to be short, I like long games, but when you are in 2 v 2 v 2 v 2 and the war is clearly over, no resources left, or little anyway, and it is two entire age IV armies, and you got three tents on wheels hidden, there is no point in it.
Now, if it was an Esports type competitive match, sure I get it, but with this situation we experienced, I can only conclude that the guy was trying to get us to quit in frustration, which is exactly what happened.
So, sure he got the win with just a hidden tent on wheels, but if that is what the Mongol faction is reduced to, fine, but there is no strategy in it, and if on a non-competitive custom team game with randoms, if you need the win that desperately that you will spend three hours (that's how long it must have went on) just rushing around with a tent on wheels, then just let me know before hand and i'll surrender then open a new game, you'll save us both time.
Since in AoE 4 you don't need to chase down every single unit, it would suffice if it revealed just the locations of all remaining enemy landmarks. But I do think something like that should definitely be in the game.
apart from whining, what u want? if u KNOW you won, just quit, who gives? ppl have done this in noob league and bm league for over 20 years in starcraft, but who cares?
You play Mongols, don't you?
Please yes. Need spies back.
I've only made this topic once, I'm not "***" at RTS games or any other type (except sports games, I hate sports games), I am just pointing out the absurdity of chasing a tent on wheels around an entire gigantic (8 player) map, made all the more ridiculous by the fact that this tent on wheels is as fast as a rocket, if it wasn't so annoying it'd be funny.
However, the devs are patching these things out as we speak, so what will you do then? Because I don't play as Mongol, but you only play as Mongol, so what will do you once the patch arrives?
