Mongol players destroying my streak

I always end up losing my streak to a mongol player. Their eco boost is ridiculous I had map control on the map with two mountain lines and gold in between I had both sacred sites and 4 relics and my economy was going crazy because of the middle full of gold but somehow the mongol player had an even stronger economy without having any map control..
How is that balanced

he probably made more villagers faster than you. there is the thing with the stone mining though. that might have factored into his eco score.

I had more vils. He was on 1 TC and I was on 2 second one was in the middle
The castle age landmark with 50%+ gold is broken
I don’t know why but mongol economy is getting out of hand so easily I played HRE how can I have a worse eco with 4 relics, 2 sacred sites and more TC’s

We’re they using the trader? Mongol economy can boom big with their trader bonuses

Yeah I guess I don’t deserve it.

I just need some advice to have a good chance against mongols. It’s not the early aggression or map control it’s just the keeping up with their eco.
Is it the most important thing to not let them trade or left alone in feudal age while focus on own boom?
I don’t have any problem playing against the other civs it’s just against mongols where I feel I’m way ahead and suddenly get steamrolled

Did you watch the replay? He could have made the silver tree landmark (gives reduced cost traders) and then a tonne of traders. Their silk road perk also means when they have a lot of traders they start returning food and wood together with gold. If you had all that map control he can only achieve this if you're leaving his side alone so maybe you were just too passive?

Did you ever stop to think that doing damage to a mongol players economy might help? If you sit back and let them do their thing(like literally any rts) theyre going to be fat.

but they are letting me get fat also as i said i have the whole map control sitting on 6 large gold mines and have 4 relics + 2 sacred sites there should be no chance for the other player to have a stronger economy by sitting in your own base as an aggression civ with less tc less ressource etc. it's simply op

I am main mongol. Ill tell you a secret, when you boom eco vs mongol of same skill level, you will lose. We have the best eco lategame, so even with your relics and holy places, you will lose.

We dont need mine stone and we will have the highest stone of all players.

With trade route we dont need mine gold, traders are just too good. Cheaper, faster to produce, faster moving and carry more resources. Its nearly x2 other civs traders.

Almost every team game 4v4, i have more food and gold than all my 3 teammates.

Also we can produce x2 units with our free stone, making your problem worse.

And we have tecnologies to make our troops better and faster than other civs.

So, we have x2 your resources, better troops, 50% troop cost its free, how can you win vs a mongol macro game? You cant. Its quite simple.

yes you need to harass the trading, it shouldnt be too hard since they dont have walls.

I forgot to say:
Mongol troops are better than yours, every one except man at arms, you have the best in the game and mongols the second best maa.

They have more hp, more damage, more speed, can be recruited x2 "free" And train 10% faster.

Even with your prelate buff, your units are wordt than mongols. You need few prelates, wich is gold and pop. Kan is free and better no pop cost.

They have 25% atack damage boost with 1 build that can move and heal troops + kan buff (+2 armor / speed / +50% range)

So yes, your 4 relics will save you for sure....
