Any tips/ideas for the step below?
Holy Roman Empire Mastery 4: Resupply
Killed a whole lot of enemies while having the Two-Handed Weapon technology, despite that, it doesn't seem to unlock ...
Same for the Raise the alarm mastery on the English. Any tips?
The mastery thing is bugged sometimes, Any quest that doesnt need to be completed in the Imperial Age, finish in the Castle Age.
I literally mean complete the match in the Castle Age.
1. Get a cuppah of tea and some snacks, you'll need them.
2. Create a skirmish with Easy AI
3. Surround your base with wooden walls.
4. Place outposts inside the perimeter at the edge of the walls to proc Network of Castles
5. Have a contingent of longbowmen near every outpost, 5-9 will do
6. Go watch a show or something, I hope you brought those snacks?
7. Get the mastery
8. .....
9. PROFIT!
I'd recommend playing against a harder AI, as it won't take them 60 years to send attacks towards your base. Easy can sometimes take up to 30-40 minutes before they send even a basic 5-man squad.
Oh, and if you *don't* completely wall off your base, leave a small opening, the AI will almost always attack there. As in, they'll try to get through the gap. You can use this to manipulate the AI into sending armies into your defences.
I did just that without issues. I'm not sure if early man in arms or elite man in arms counts, but I did it with just man in arms (1 upgrade) and only the two handed upgrade and then I produced only man in arms and nothing else and went and killed the enemy with it, killing their military etc. but you only need to kill 15.
Yup. Dont advance past the castle age. Win the game and do the quest in the castle age. Spam prelates after you research the thing too.
Probably intentional. If it says Castle age or Feudal age it likely wants to teach you what you can do in those ages with the selected faction. Hence, mastery. They all still completele if you fulfill the conditions and *then* age up though.
They don't say Castle or Feudal Age though. The landsknecht quest I was only able to complete in the Castle Age, despite it saying nothing about what age.
