Achievements not unlocking

Is seems like achievments dont unlock when you save and or load a game and that this problem influences the mastery of civs too. For examplse i played the french campaign and i got all the achievments apart from the last mission where i messed a fight up and had to reload the game, after that the achievment for completing the french campaing didnt unlock.

This is just an example, it already happend multiple times to me, that achiements or mastery missions didnt unlock and the only thing i did differently in those games was loading a safe i did earlier. Thats why i have the theory that loading a safe file resets the counter for this unlock or disables it entirely for the mission.

I would like to know from you guys if you had similar experiences, so that i know this isnt a problem that only affects me and if my theory about loading/saving could be true.

Edit: I got the game on 100% now, every achievement and mastery is possible to get. You can ask me if you have a problem to obtain one of them.

For the campaign ones i would recommend replaying the missions you need to replay on lowest difficulty without saving or loading.

I was wondering why I didn't unlock an achievements, and I indeed saved during the game.
It may be the cause.

Damn, was wondering the same here. I reloaded the last mission of the mongol campaign and did not get the achievement for saving the trebs nor for finishing the campaign.

Same problem here, I finished the campaign revolving around The Hundred Years War and didn't get the achievement. I saved before the fight at the river and loaded afterwards because I lost to many units there.
Hope they will fix this and somehow make that you can get the achievement without doing it all over again.

Didn't get the extra achievement at the siege of lincoln mission cause the keep took one single hit.
After loading and completing the mission without that I still didn't get the achievement.

I didn't get the Counter-Raider achievement even though I didn't save or load during the mission (the second English mission) and done it in one sitting.

guys its one of those lousy games where if youre not connected the whole time or if youre connection drops a little bit you dont get the achievement, even the offlines achievements. lousy game do not buy if you havent already

Just lost connection during a campaign mission and reconnected after I won it.
Still got the "Quit Touching Me!" achievement a few secs after being reconnected.

Have you experienced this yourself or is it just cheap trolling?

I have the same issue. Saving during campaign or lossing connection somehow. Damn, I really feel like this game was not properly tested. I've already encountered a bug when I could not store a relic in the monastery.

I lost connection during a game and a message appeared, stating that i cant unlock matery offline... So you have to stay connected in order to unlock things (which is annoying i think). My ingame language is German and this message didnt appear in the english version. I think thats the reason why nobody knows about this feature... Hope this solves your problem

Not only achievements are affected by loading a game, but also daily quests don't get registered.

I came here because i had to leave during a skirmish game, so i saved and came back and finished the skirmish and two daily quests din not complete (aquire 500 bounty with Rus and produce 30 gunpowder units), although i'm 100% positive i met the conditions.

It's a pretty stupid mechanic indeed, but i think they thought of the scenario where u save a game like 10secs before winning ( by wonder for example) and in the respective day with the daily u just load it and bam ..10 sec mission completed.

Well, this is an interesting option. I'm fairly positive about that I haven't lost my connection during the mission but if the English version doesn't even show it... well, it's possible, I suppoe.
