The game is easy to learn but not easy to master.
I am not looking for advice, I just don't enjoy the fast spam fiesta. Did the devs seriously not include such a basic feature? AoE2 DE has this.
Shame. I want to play a more relaxing skirmish (or campaign), where I can think a bit about what is happening.
= and - (plus and minus).
Problem for me is: they do not change Game Speed. I have assigned secondary keys for them and those do not work either. For me it is 'make or break' so I am staying inside the 2 hours but I have enough time left to test anything anyone here can come up with?
Maybe it is a bug with making a Profile, and it works fine with Default Settings?
It does suprise me so many people say there are no such keys. Could it be there are different Key Bindings options for different platforms?
Very curious; hope someone has an answer :)
this is for replay only
Well refund hope they fix it and get it again I guess. Moldy Oldies need their time with...certain...things ;p.
I found something interesting a while back: 'Advanced Game Settings' (my only mod). I do not remember if this is something I downloaded in-game or from a place like Nexusmods.
Personally I hope its speed settings, which only go to about 70% (over three individual aspects of the game) will soon allow us to further reduce game speed, because as soon as I have more than one (control) group in AoE IV things are just not allowing me to have a fun relaxed game experience, where I can think rather than quick-react.
One of the first RTS I played was Empire Earth with, I think, 10 speed settings.
I now play Sins of a Solar Empire II and it also has a multitude of speed settings.
AoE IV: one wonders why not? I hardly play it because of this, and therefore cannot recommend it.
Thinking is not such a bad thing. In moderation ;)
