Why is the AOE 4 at the size of 218.65 GB on game pass?

i mean ARK call of duty warzone call of duty in general are mostly 150 to 200 GB and warzone hase alot of GB needed so there games out there that needs 200GB so yeah there are people that have space for all those games

ok... WTF Maybe MS is trying to make people with game pass buy the game elsewhere which is shady AF. So I will go with incompetence... Maybe they rereleased the Flight sim under AOE name XD

Oh it is very true. I got around 150 gb of free space on the PC right now. And it says i can't install it on Game Pass, because the size of the game (On there) Is 218.65 gb. Thats even more outragious than Call Of Duty: Warzone.

And why wouldnt you have space availible? What you have to have all 10 thousand games you own installed? 200gigs isnt a lot at all. Get rid of what you dont play or just get rid of a ton in general. You clearly dont need that much if you are just buying buying buying. And you might save money that way too lol
I have 10TB of space for my system and barly use 300gigs total. Keeps my machine running like glass at a split seconds notice :)

without it the game is 35,2 gb

I just checked the HD texturepack DLC on steam. It is only 7 extra Gigs. Are the HD textures even more advanced on game pass? Does not make sense to me

I just checked the HD texture pack on game pass. Aparently it is true. The HD texture pack on game pass is 133 gigs of space. And the HD texture pack on steam is 7 gigs of space. Guess i am a lucky guy. Aparently i am going to get 126 gigs of even mor textures than you poor guys on steam.

Guess now is the time to cook steaks on my RTX 3070.

Microsoft Store still is the biggest failure of any gaming shop today.
That's why i even bought AOE4 on Steam, instead of playing it on that garbage store with the 1€ pass.

You can get it down to around 60 gigs if you go into "bundle" section and click all the way through to the standard version. This foregoes the 4k HDR pack and specials.

Hmm where do you guys see a 4K pack for texture?
All i see is the a 4k VIDEO pack as DLC and it's about 28gig extra.
