It makes sense too. Age 2 DE has a campaign co-op so most likely this will have it too. Hope this helps. You don't need to buy this game at all until you hear somethingore solid. It's not like if you don't pre-order or buy before release you're gonna miss out on this game.
-I am not sure yet if coop campaigns for age iv are planned or announced.
Well, they are giving that AoE2DE DLC which I would buy standalone otherwise. So far this game looks worse than AoE2 but playing through campaigns with a friend might just be worth the playtime
Just copy what Starcraft 2 did and you have tens of thousands of new players.
