Why can't anyone pronounce the name Naomi correctly?
Where do people get the NEYE-oh-mee pronunciation from? It's NAY-oh-mee, or NOW-me if you're Japanese.. The letter "i" is at the end out the name, not the beginning. Never name your kid Naomi. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate my name. This is just a massive pet peeve of mine and I have no idea where people get that pronunciation from.

I've never met anyone named Naomi who pronounces it like that.

What I don't understand is why John pronounces it both ways. He pronounces it one way at the border and the other way during another interaction.

i love your name. i also appreciate japanese certain cultures on personal health, also the fact that relationships are more taken seriously there.

This reminds me of one of the old Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes films, specifically The Pearl of Death (loosely based off The Adventure of the Six Napoleons.) Holmes and the bad guy kept pronouncing Naomi as NAM-EE. Never understood that.
