Yeah, i'm confused on what the long term plan is and the steam page isn't super helpful in that regard. If i'm understanding it correctly it seems like it will go into 1.0 with 1 of 3 acts finished and im assuming the rest will come as free updates, based on early access details quote "The current price is final and will be the same as the final release price."
Game looks good, and i want to jump in when its fully out though. Any estimate on how long it might take to finish the remaining acts?

I could be wrong, but it seems quite clear on the early access details that the final game (1.0 i imagine) will bring the other 2 chapters. They just don't want to spoil anything in early access, it's probably so people can keep QA Testing and giving feedback on main mechanics and features.

This 0.9 version only has the first act. Act 2 map was removed to be overhauled for release and the 1.0 release version will come with all 3 acts. so Act 2 and 3 are currently being finished so they are ready for full release in may / june

Can't wait for 1.0! I'm a completionist with these kind of games so I'd definitely get burned out if I start early.
