wtf this is a complete pivot! It looks great but this is not the game I wanted! Like at all! I loved the preview campaign you guys had made ages ago before conquest was even a thing. This is literally a whole different new game from that. It kills me to see that the original Tainted Grail is completely left in the dust, which we'd been promised wouldn't be the case. This is nothing like that and I am extremely bewildered by the complete pivot and redesign. Even the core design structure is different!

I'm sorry Devs, but looks like I'll have to unfollow & remove it from wishlist. I was looking forward to deckbuilding or at least turn-based combat in a dark fantasy world. If I want a good fantasy open world rpg - I'll just go back to The Witcher 3. Good luck, but it should't come as a surprise when/if many people lose interest now.

Very much too soon to even think about localizations... but given they did it for Conquest, would assume offering the same down the road for FoA would not be too far off.

Not that the game looks bad, but I'm not at all interested in a first person hack and slash game. No card based battles and not nothing at all like the board game. Bummer. If I hadn't already paid for it before it got split into two games, I most certainly would not now.

Sadly now it's not the game I was interested about. Removed from wishlist. Good luck to you, I hope the game turns out great.

It looks amazing, and everybody who bought this game in early access will get two full games out of it, to put that into perspective. Also, the point of early access is to buy into a premise, not into a full completed game and from my understanding, the game's concept can still change over time. Last but not least, many EA projects fail to deliver even somewhat of a completed game, which is not even the case here.

Its the same world - same island, same time, its just slightly before the board game plot.
Also instead of just retelling the story, we’ll get a completely new story - in my book thats just great, makes it an extension rather than a replacement :)
Plus. It doesnt mean a digital port of the board game is out of the question :)

An fps rpg in the setting of Tainted Grail? Even though the game is in my library I wouldnt mind paying extra if it actually turns out good.

That said, please, please do not forget that gameplay and good story/quest design is WAY more important for a rpg than the graphic.
