take your time and make it a great game with a great combat (better than skyrim at least or close to a dying light 2 best scenery ).
This is very disappointing indeed, the original concept when it was built in with Conquest, when you simply chose story mode or conquest was far, far superior, it took my breathe away and I hailed it as one of two games that would be my game of the year.
You then said you would split them up and I was super excited at the prospect of you being able to bring more to the story mode but not like this, not in first person. I am sure some will love it, I am sure you intent was for the best but I am just interested in another FPS, thanks and good luck.
Will be keeping my eyes open on this one but the early footage isn't giving me too much hope. Perhaps cut some actual game play footage so we can see what kind of turn this game has taken. As it stands now it looks like your standard ARPG. Will there actually be any unique combat or will I just be slapping big boy in the cankles until he keels over?
And since development only started very recently, i would assume thats about all they have/had in terms of gameplay. IIRC, the update even said that this normally wouldnt be something theyd had revealed for another 6months if they werent in the position to make up for a promise and just wanted to show its alive and being worked on.
Im pretty sure there will be more updates on gameplay at some point. But even those might by no means be close to the final version.
From what is currently known, it will play slightly earlier than the boardgame and follow other protagonists.
I'm glad Conquest actually turned out to be a good game, because I definitely didn't sign up for this bs.
Doing a decent first person rpg is way more ambitious and difficult to pull off than a simple card based game and I'm curious to see how the devs will pull it off.
The setting and theme always interested me so I'm quite happy to see that they've decided to move away from the demo board game like version from before. This idea looks interesting.
