Might be referring to the machete. From my personal experience the best one handed weapon might actually be the Red Cap Dagger. It costs the tiniest amount of stamina to swing, and you can sharpen it at the blacksmith to increase the damage. I have a later game dagger now called something like Wolf's Fang, but the red cap dagger is seriously overpowered early on!

Soulsplitter has to be nerfed eventually. I can spam anything in the game and walk away 100% health with that life leech.

Warpick takes the one handed cake for me. Went the whole game unaware of sharpening but with the warpick and the ability that increase damage 25% for 3 seconds after you dash, was 1-2 hitting all normal mobs

where was the exactly? Is it inside the cave that the troll is in front of? I couldnt find it in there for the life of me
