Is there a torch item, or something for a light source?

Not sure if I missed it on the asylum, I just got into the main land and it's just really dark. Normally in games like Skyrim or Oblivion, I use a torch but I didn't find one laying around, and didn't seem to be able to use ones on the walls.

I've found both torches and a spell that summons a hovering orb of light.

i found torch in the mine after unlocking a box. Mine is next to the starting beach

Ah! Thanks. I took a wrong turn somewhere and had some peasents kick my ass so I'll go back and look for that mine.

Does the torch run out of... light or whatever? Like Skyrim/Oblivion torches will get used up after some time.

I just wish they were more useful, nights should be way darker, caves too, would be creepy as hell walking around at night, maybe even more dangerous, more enemies, something like that. I only know its night time because some NPCs go to sleep.

Interesting, I'm still just on the beach and surrounding area and I'm having a hard time seeing things, though I haven't touched gamma or brightness or anything. And it's been constantly raining.

Where are y'all finding light orb spells?

i havent found hardly any of the older spells, no orb light, spectral blades. I feel like I am missing something.

I was noticing it was impossible to see at night and looked at the brightness setting. If you don't edit it at all I think its in game default is absolutely black. If you edit it a single tick towards light you can actually see again.

For me outside world is too dark like sun was behind double or triple layers of clouds. Corners of ruined houses or rooms are too dark, caves are too bright, there is something wrong with lighting. It feels like they tried to achieve the look of ray tracing without actually using ray tracing.

the torch is useless it makes no light. but if you put the brihgtness to the limit it will solve the nigh time
