So I just finished the game...
FYI it took my about 18 hours to do "all" quests that I think is available to complete. I think it is a game where Skyrim and a very easy soul game had a baby. Feels like a good inbetween. Game is very fun, I love the ambiance and what they tried to accomplish. Yes it needs a lot of work (especially animation, voice acting, subtitles and just overall polishing) but if you can forget about it the game is very enjoyable.

A lot of quests were hard to complete/know what to do. Feel free to ask anything you don't find, I'll try to answer them all (spoiler feature on).

Game is way too easy btw.

Did you have issues with saves not loading? This is my current issue. If you did, was there something you did to overcome that?

hey since you completed the game, how do I get out of the mistbearer boss fight, when I kill it?

sometimes quitting the game completely and relaunching it fixed the reload spawn for me.this is if you keep falling from the sky like I did.

NVM I completely quit the game and relaunched it. Did the fight again and a portal appeared!

there's a cave under the blood lake. If I remember correctly you can mine it from the walls there. Just make sure you have a pickaxe in your inventory. If not, I believe you can find one in the cave.

THATS where its at thank you so much, and yes there is 1 pickaxe on a rack to the right when you first enter the cave.

The ritual can be performed right where you found the broken gong. That would be the little island just off the coast with the stair case and the archway at the top.
