Guard key in dungeon under ogre?

Does anyone recall if the key is in the dungeon? Cant seem t find it.

OMG that's exactly where I am right now. I cleared the whole jail area, and I can't find the guard key. I was able to shoot a fireball to hit the guy on the other side of the door though (it went right through the wood lol). But his corpse didn't have it.

Checked from top to bottom of that place, from the bodies, tables, boxes, cages, floors, back walls of cells, bear's den, around skeleton props, hands poking out on bottom floor and nothing. If it's in the game it isn't in there, or it fell through the map.

Same here. I emptied every barrel, crate, corpse, looked on every floor, table, cage, etc. I even fully explored the bear cave. It's gotta be somewhere else in the game. If we ever get modding in this game, I'm going to find a way to delete the wooden door just to solve this mystery. lol

I was wondering this as well, I cleared the whole place top to bottom along with the bears and cant find it.

I don't think you can actually find it, I'm pretty sure later in early access or final game we will get to go back there and whatever is past the door will be high level content.

I think i recall another door that requires guard's key, cant recall if it was a dungeon or something similar.

Same, it's the only area I haven't explored from the content we got. Also there is the blood lake and captains room that needs a guard key but those automatically unlock when the captain comes back so not the same.

Inside horns of the south keep, there's another door that requires guard's key. I think the captain has it, and if you choose to kill him, you find out his secrets or something. Just a speculation tho

I think there is a locked guards key door in the museum as well?

The door in the keep is the captains office. After the main quest (if you sided with him) you find him sitting at his desk in there). But yeah it would be an amazing twist if his key unlocks the door in the dungeon.

I'm planing to side with him, both doors are said to require guard's key, so it could be for that door as well.

I still see the door. I ran over there just now, sniped the ogre, went down the trap door, killed the first dude, and saw the wooden door. Still requires guard key.
