Old topic, but I wanted to give another vote for player housing. I always enjoy the immersive nature of having a home to go to after adventuring. A place to rest your weary head and to stow all your treasure and things you've collected on your travels. I really hope the devs give us this one!
They already mentioned plans about player housing quite a while ago. And im pretty sure theres even a little preview of the housing in one of the videos in the devlog. Might have been in the cuanacht preview, i think

What were you impressed by exactly? I'm really puzzled by this outpouring of love for this title.

The combat is boring. All enemies beeline straight to you and then we play step back and step in hit them till they fall down.
The magic is boring. I think I'll use the green coloured ball with the orange coloured ball so majestic, very game.
The graphics despite what so many people are saying are good in the scenery but that's it, character models are plain heaps of equipment have clipping issues and it all looks very clunky.
The crafting isn't really new or interesting in any fashion.
Oh look it's that lockpick minigame from fallout with extremely fragile picks hooray.

It's just so weird that people are heaping praise on this, it's at this point a very bland version of the most generic fantasy gaming concepts rolled into one.

better question, did you seriously come into this chat that was about a different question just so you could rain on other peoples' parades? do you seriously hate other people enjoying something that much? people like the game man. if you want to know why, go watch a review video. but if you want to come in here just to be a jerk and try to tell people they shouldn't like a thing that makes them happy, then try reddit. i hear your kind thrive over there

From steam store:
- further improvements of all core game systems
- thievery systems (and improvements to stealth gameplay)
- dual wielding of weapons
- improvements to melee fighting
- player-owned house(s), gardening, fishing, and other such activities
- a lot of additional content”

thank you! i was hoping that stuff would be in the game. i like having a place to put all my crafting ingredients thats also close to crafting stations

I talked to an NPC today about a house for sale, and he suggested I buy it. Don't know if the ability to do so is in game yet, but they are clearly planning it. The house is in The Village, and NPC said they've been trying to sell it for years.

This is the perfect example of "who asked", go whine like a baby to a wall, learning to talk to that wall will help when you hit 40 and realize no one cares what you think.

I wouldn't hate the idea of some kind of a home base. Skyrim style, prefab. Gather the stuff, add things to preordained spots. Implementing a free build in this game would absolutely ruin it, but I could see the appeal of having somewhere to mount the heads of my enemies.

You guys realize you're arguing against a 2 year old comment, yeah? Not only is that guy most likely no longer active in this forum, the version of the game he played was very different from what you're playing today. Like, I don't want to be rude, but come on, use a little bit of common sense.
