Can I stash items?
Crafting materials fill up my inventory really quickly, and I haven't found a way to stash them; in fact once I take something from a chest I can't even put it back. Is there an option to put these items in a personal chest/container or is it not implemented in the game yet.

Using traders to store items seems like a really bad idea, have the developers confirmed that it's safe to use traders for storing items?

I think the developers should TEMPORARILY remove the player carry weight limit.

Maybe make some kind of pocket dimension type of stash as a magic ability? You know, like summon a bigazz chest on the spot. Higher level, of course, with appropriate questline to earn it.

I would hope unlimited inventory without any penalty. Just a toggle option to activate this.

Just sell to the same merchant, thats your stash

I've put all points into endurance and chose the extra carrying capacity perk. I can't stand leaving money/crafting items on the table.
Good looking out on the buyback. I was afraid it would disappear at some point.

I wanted to stash stuff in a random chest but then I realized you can't do 2 way transfers lol.

I certainly wouldn't mind modding out encumbrance. It's all silly when you think about it. You can't really carry 2000 apples just because they are 0.1 weight.

Just a thought, Maybe add somewhere you can make a home such as an abandoned building or cave, or maybe a home you can buy in one of the villages? It would also be cool to be able to place down a chest or bed (or maybe like a camp) In specific locations on the map that are like "safe zones." That would be really cool. But I would be satisfied with just a chest placed somewhere soon so we can store our stuff. It's kind of a buzzkill not being able to. Keep it in mind about making our own places though. :Kirito:

How long will the buy back items last? Forever? Is it based on how many items you sell? Is it based on specific vendor? I don't want to risk loosing stuff just to have my inventory space back.

Also, I just did the mine, and got a crap ton of Iron and wyrdstone ore. Huge mistake...

You have a Diablo style stash, it's a huge chest, can't miss it.

Wasn't there an option like this in the first Divinity: Original Sin, except you could carry the actual container, which carried a limited stash?

There is a giant 'unlimited' chest that is called 'Stash'. One is next to the Fergus npc in the first keep.
Update. Stash has been added!
