Can I stash items?

Crafting materials fill up my inventory really quickly, and I haven't found a way to stash them; in fact once I take something from a chest I can't even put it back. Is there an option to put these items in a personal chest/container or is it not implemented in the game yet.

I think the weigh of "consumables" and crafting materials must be toned down significantly. Also, there are waaaay too many of them. Too much clutter.

I'm going to stop playing for now, having no where to store loot is a big deal for me. It would have been nice to at least store loot in containers we find.

Seconded. The ability to store crafting ingredients is needed, like air. I hope the implementation of this mechanics will not take much time, because now, even with the amulet for +25kg to load capacity, 70% of the inventory is full of alcohol, ore, herbs and everything else needed for crafting....

I am in the same boat. This seems like a pretty cool game. I have been playing all day, but this inventory leaves a lot to be desired. I will set this down for now until we get some kind of player stash.

If you want to store items like crafting materials just sell them to any of the shops. They will stay in the buy back menu, so you can use them as storage. The buy back prices are the same as the sell prices, so no need to worry.

Also there's a few ways to boost your carry capacity early on, if the you do the seagull quest the guy will originally give you 10 coins as a reward however you can also choose a dialogue option with a perception check and they will give you a Giant Feather which permanently increases your carry capacity by 15, there's also a strength check dialogue option which assumedly gives the same reward but I didn't try that option so I can't confirm.
Also one of the towers in the keep has an amulet that increases your carry capacity by 25 located right at the top so that's worth looking out for too.

You can, sell items to one of the vendors, then use the buy back feature
