Probably not considered representative of the EA release and whatever. I don't really like these limited time demos especially as I only found out about the demo through the email about early access release (today!) to begin with.

Devs, please reconsider reinstating a demo version at some point, ty.

You can just buy the game and refund it within 2 hours if you don't like it.
That is basically your demo for every game on Steam.

in the 80/90's, computer game magazines did have disks/cd's attached to them, i guess you were born after 2000. Google before mocking someone that is correct and you are wrong with your childish reply little kiddie.

For this EA you have more content and working mechanics than in most of EA I played. It´s worth the money in my opinion.

Leaving the demo up, as it was (ran fine for me), may bring more people into the Early Access. The ONLY reason I've broken my taboo on Early Access games and bought this now is because you had enough confidence in what you're doing to release a playable demo and not just trailers with disclaimers like 'Footage may not reflect actual game play'.
Its just that lots of the mechanics from the demo are overhauled and its no longer representative. They could have taken the time to build a new demo, but it wouldve taken time away from developing

Wrong. they clearly say this not what the refund is for. if you do it too often, they don't like it and will deny your refunds.

Where does steam “clearly” say that?

It says as long as youve played less than 2h and bought it less than 2weeks ago, you are eligible.
Only stipulation here is
If it appears that you are abusing the refund system, we reserve the right to revoke access to this feature.
And i wouldnt say demoing a game and realizing its not for you is not “abuse” or malicious use of the system.

I have done this multiple dozens of times within the last 2 to 3 years by now, including 4 or 5 times with the same early access game that in the end failed to improve its issues (hence the multiple refunds on the same game) and never did i even get warned of them, that they might be taking access to this away from me, so pretty sure, that that is false.
