localization isnt easy and surely not cheap. they just didnt want (/couldnt afford?) to maintain 5-6 different localizations over the course of early access. hence the decision to not localize any more before all text is locked in. and just because there wasnt a sizable group of people expressing their desire to play this in spanish when they did the first localizations, doesnt mean they treat "spanish speakers badly". it just wasnt the most requested at that time.
I don't know the real reason why Spanish is not included as one of the first languages but in many forums that I have commented about the language, there are always players who make fun or developers who answer to everyone but those of us who ask for the Spanish language.
That is my real complaint.
and totally get the sentiment of wanting to play a game in your primary language - which most likely also is the reason devs included a polish localization, so they probably somewhat feel the same way about it.
Anyways, I dont think a spanish localization after release will be too far fetched, as its generally widely demanded and their previous game also offered spanish localizations. so there's definitely still hope for that :)
In the future, we'll let you know about the full list of planned languages.
