If it's the weapon I think it is, it's found in a very firey region in the north-north west part of the new map. It's dropped by a unique/named mob there.

To get there, take the north west exit from the town (where the blacksmith is), and follow the paths around there too the north west, you should find it. There is also a fast travel way point near by (where it borders the forest)
