So I just got this quest and I don't have the recipe for it in my inventory, nor does it show up when I click on the cooking pot...

Also it's not obvious but on m&k when in the cooking menu pressing w or d will switch between experimenting and known recipes.

Yeah, I was just being blind and not scrolling all the way down, I had to start a new game and use the pie was my 5th recipe to realize that it actually was in my list of known recipies.
