The maps are interconnected and you can travel back and forth between them
There needs to be space to build anticipation.
Stand at the cemetery and look into the valley, watch the deer walk in their circle, then see the wolves walk in their circle, the circles basically touch but no interaction.
I'll take a smaller map with more things to do any day. Especially if it still has the sense of scale that a game like skyrim sometimes has.
I didnt get to act 2 yet, im waiting for the march update to drop, but i have seen some changes already on the first map, last time i played there were some bugs and glitches dev have fixed, like the cave from the Quest fo the Andraste, that was buggy mess with invisible walls last time i played hehehe.
Can only think that map 1 is so dense because it was the only game play for a long time, and now it is unlikely to be revised, and has set the tone for the rest of the game.
I put the game down and waiting for the release, but do not have high hopes any longer.
