Crimson shard (Bleed Relic)

Can anyone tell me where this drops / looted from? or if its a quest, I had this on my first run and even since i got it I don't know how i got it I just noticed it in my inventory at one point, but it doesn't seem like any info exists for this relic at all and I am on a new run doing bleed.

Found several by identifying "?" loot.
Collect about 20 pieces but don't use identifying right away. Make a save and start to identify all.
Reload your save for different results.
Usually it comes in a "waves" of loot, so most likely you will find several Crimson Shards on one attempt.

Are you sure actually? cause I found it for sale, and remember now that I bought the one I got, I have yet to even one time receive the crimson shard from identifying.

I have identified hundreds of items (and save scummed to see what I can get) and I have never once got a crimson shard. Are you just guessing because you got other relics from identifying or did you actually get one by identifying? Pretty sure it's not part of the identify pool.

I've never seen one in my unidentified loot
