where do i see this in my character sheet , i cannot find it anywhere .

It's not a stat you invest in as such. It's on the same page that shows your 1-handed level, magic level, cooking level etc. Just expand the categories.

character->status, on the right side dexterity should have a dropdown with skill levels and this one should be right in the middle under dodge
