Mmm, at a Crossroads I think for Act 2.
Been doing basically all the running around quests in acts before doing the main story quests, mostly because I'm liking the side quests.

I don't really know whom to give these druidic tablet fragments to..

I've been mostly avoiding this quest to think more on it, and hopefully get more information to maybe make a more informed decision but still struggling.

Part of me doesn't Trust the Wyrdness at all, or anything associated with it, due to the absolute horrors I've seen, but the game has been pretty hard on the fact that Kamelot is basically a dying country full of nothing but corruption.

I don't want to side with the druids that do extremely questionable things, but I don't really want to side with Kamelot fully either, because it seems to be really beating the drum very loudly that siding with them is bad?

I do have to say there not seeming to be an immediate like.. perfectly good option is rather refreshing, as usually these types of dicotamies feel very cut and dry in games.

Still, I'm having a hard time choosing how I should proceed, and wanted insights from others likely later in the game.

In your opinion, if someone wanted to do what was the best for Avalon, would they work with Kamelot in regards to the Mehier in the Act 2, or with the druid fella?

Well, rather than thinking of it as "the druid fella" you could think of it as siding with the people of Cuanacht.

Denholm (aka Kamelot) wants to force these people out of their city, and move the Menhir to Kamelot.
You have the choice to light the Menhir and make it so that they can't move it, and the people; OR side with Denholm and not light the menhir, making them have to be refugees, to a place that may or may not be safer *after* they make the possibly deadly trip.

To be absolutely fair, I do not trust maggot in the slightest. He sold out his own people for protection before. And there is absolutely no guarantee going down that side of things would remotely actually fix a damn thing.

Area's ravaged by the Wyrd already, the big statue can't stop the Red Death that has already decimated the population.

Cuanacht isn't even fully on board with fully staying,there are plenty of people that are fine leaving.

I don't think this is as cut and dry as you make it sound like.

Obviously I'm trying to not just spoil anything major for you, as you seem interested in the theorycrafting;

That said, what we know of the world at this point is things are messed up, and from what we've seen from the lore at this point is that perhaps not everything we've heard about the druids being weirdos is true, since as we saw from maggot's flashbacks, they were used as scapegoats during the charred enclave.

minor spoiler;
The exact way how is found out in the memory shard area west of the alchemists hut near the swamp across the bridge after you get the Shield.

Edit: and obviously what we found out about Sewel in A1
