what did the devs mean by forcing the male characters to be cross dressing little twinks if they want to excel at magic?

Is it just a cruel joke, the developers thinly veiled kink or are they trying to portray a deeper message about the magic user archetype?

there are male armor sets and female armor sets

the game is extremely easy after the first act. just wear whatever looks cool

Pff, next good armor after ancient knight cuirass, duelist boots, duelist helm and knight legs and gauntlets I found only Percivals armor, which is... Well... "female dark elfish" XD But I'm usings it's headwear, looks cool XD
