Some questions (comparing to Elder Scolls)
So just found out about this game, saw some gameplay, looks good. Don't like to look too closely into videos as to not spoil things for me. Some questions:

1) Can you buy houses? Do they serve a purpose...can you store things...grow plants...etc?

2) Is there any sort of base building (doubt it but asking in case).

3) How are NPCs? Dumb? Do they react if kill someone or draw my weapon or very static? Do they have routines? Not really expecting Rockstar/Bethesda level, but also don't want dumb Avowed NPCs in 2025, if this is considered an open world game...

4) Can you have companions/followers other than summons?

5) Are there factions? Side quests? Anything to do besides the main story?

6) Is there fast travel?

7) Any survival mechanics?

8) How is character customization? How are differing classes and armor/weapon sets?

I think that's it. Thanks

1) You can buy. But no builing or farming mechanices.
2)....
3) They're normal. You can't kill people, or you'll get punished. They have routines. It's mostly like in Skyrim.
4) No.
5) Sure. A lot.
6) Yes. Via teleport stones and bonfire. Not it dungeons though.
7) Nope.
8) Wide and amazing. Very different builds. No classes - you build whatever you want.
1) there are homes but there are very limited options to decorate your house
your house is mainly just a place where you have all the crafting stations next to a 'stash'
a 'stash' is kinda like an enderchest in minecraft, you have 1 inventory that can be accessed from anywhere where a stash is, so it serves as one central place to hoard all your items

technically you can grow a plant, technically there is a planting mechanic but it seems to be cut content? there are working planters but... well the game isnt really doing anything with them besides a single quest

2)
no

3)
they are very basic and lifeless tbh
only a few npc have a routine but its limited to going to sleep at night and going to a specific position during the day
friendly npcs are mostly just bolted to the point they are standing on, like furniture
however they do react if you draw your sword, thats about everything they ever react to tho, they dont even react to other npcs around them
npcs behave very lifeless and disapointing compared to skyrim or oblivion

4)
friendly npcs dont move, see 3) (only exception is a few npcs that head to bed at night and some nameless ones that pace back and forth)
so no companions (there are pets tho that can follow u)

5)
yes, a lot of them

6)
yea, BUT the fast travel isnt working very well because almost all fast travel points are within 1 meter of an enemy, meaning you often get hit while you load in lol
also there is a difficulty option that turns of fast travel

7)
the survival mode makes the game only save when you are sleeping and disables fast travel
sleep also gives you a temporary xp gathering boost
but you dont need food and drinks or anything like that, there is no starvation or dehydration

8)
cosmetic options in the character creator are lacking, but for gameplay you have vast options for your build, though some builds are significantly more powerful then others^^

weapon and armor sets sometimes have really really odd stat requirements, like high strength or endurance for a light weight mage armor set, dont ask me why thats a thing lol
but there are a lot of different sets with different equipment effects
