Saves Hitting Max

Be careful of letting your saves hit the max. I noticed my grey button being greyed out, but figured I was in combat, or somewhere in middle of quest where it wouldn't let me save. I wasn't worried about it. After an hour, I noticed it was still greyed out. I tried resting, sleeping on a bed, waiting, fast traveling, F5ing, etc. That's when I noticed my save files said 1/100. So I started deleting my old save files. Still couldn't save. I retried all above steps above. Save button was still greyed out. So I regretfully reloaded my hour old save... and now it is no longer grey.

TLDR; Delete old save files before it fills up.

So it only goes up to 100 saves? where are you manually deleting the saves?
