I've bought a lumber axe but I can't chopping wood to make my arrows.

Thanks but I think it's not clear when you can or can't use an axe for log cutting.

With the pickaxe you can mine rocks in the open world.

log ax is only for "home use". you get about 8 uses, then you have to wait for the respawn.

each cut gives 2 logs, so 8 cuts for 16 logs.
