I killed a Round Table Knight and met a "god"... Arhur had nothing to say about that.
While in Act1 he has to say something for nearly everything...
If he gives a doubled-up dialogue option (two of exactly the same choice) and you pick one, the theory I've heard is that triggers it. But that's just internet theory/rumor, I don't know for sure/don't quote me. EDIT: and if you never pick one, he might never trigger others, anyway, so. >.>
I think theres some credit to this rumor. I had the "what was (knight) like in your time" and it doubled up, Clicked on one and ever since our once and silent king stayed silent. Originally I thought it was his character getting a bit more secretive towards us as he remembered more but I dunno, at this point prolly a bug.
Exact same issue with the exact same dialogue option. It sucks, I was really enjoying the whispers :(
I stopped playing pretty much as soon as I hit Act 2, the first NPC I spoke to had more accents than Betty in KCD:2, that told me everything I was to expect from the rest of the game.

Arthur chat is pretty broken at the moment.
Wait until you see Act 3. Dungeons are largely one or two rooms, and relatively trivial. Game turns in to a bit of a fetch quest, fetch quest, kill something, <bugged game state>, reload save loop.
Still enjoying it tho!
Very prevalent issues in Act 3: a lot of dialogues where voice-over completely breaks, issues with subtitle to speech pacing (one gets ahead of the other), NPCs weirdly positioned facing walls or ignoring you unless you go near them and other issues. There is still few good quests in Act 3, some decent weapons and combat challenges but it feels like the development team was running out of steam.
I sincerely hope Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon is good enough commercial success for the team to get a sequel that would be funded by some smaller publisher. This game deserves proper AA sequel that would build on the foundations laid in this game and bring it to current generation technical state and push the story forward.
