Mana Shield explanation

Is there anyone here who could explain to me how to obtain and where to see the stats of "Mana Shield"? Overall, how do I acquire this mechanic? I have searched the entire tree and at "Wands" I only see the enhancement of the skill "Mana Shield". I don’t know how to obtain it and if I have it, where can I actively see its stats. Thank you very much.

For all i know at the moment - I finished the game on Veteran Melee Build, (without spoiling anything) later in the game you may or may not find some armour that has mana shield on it

manashield is % of damage taken applied to mana instead of health

you can only find it on items

Rest from gear. No total value to look up. Its not difficult to count it together, but ..well.
Some stuff they forgot. Like you can craft items out of your stash, but NOT the other stuff like upgrades. You need to have those items in your backpack.
