It is definitely eurojank. It kinda feels like "Gothic 3 meets Elder Scrolls". Whether if that is good or bad, depends on what you like.

There are certainly shortfalls to the game, no denying that. I'm sticking with it all the same, because I am positively starved for grimdark fantasies, and Danheim is a great artist to slay cosmic horrors to. But I am hoping to see some rather intrusive bugs resolved very soon.

Well i had a good 20 hours of fun this weekend, and it only got better in chapter 2.

If you like this kind of game, and not obsessed by UE5 its a no brainer.

This is a fantastic RPG IMHO, it has decent combat, good quests, varied exploring and a lot of different build options and spells. All in all really good for a AA title. IDK what your expectations are. Name better RPG that isnt triple A.

Enderal was an evolution of Skyrim and so far this seems to be nearly as good as Enderal.

It's a AA game, which people seem to want to compare to AAA production values. Personally, I prefer indie games and AA to nearly all AAA games. Some jank and dated graphics are fine by me, but this game is not terrible in either regard by any stretch of the imagination. Also...it's very fun.

"The game world is dead and static." Literally every POI I have gone too or found contains AT LEAST one interesting piece of lore, quest, or item that is really cool. This feels like playing Morrowind, Oblivion, or Skyrim for the first time. That sense of discovery and wonder is there every time I launch this game, and to say that this game world is dead and static makes me think that the Wyrdness has atrophied your mind.
