So This game looks pretty solid, I LOVE having decisions that have tangible consequences that affect the world (multiple endings r also nice too or something acknowledging my choices). But Id like to play a wizard, preferably even a necromancer/summon based guy. Is this something that remains viable or would I need to go like full nuke mage? Also while I'm asking, I hope spell variety is good?

From what I read so far summons are quite strong in 1.0. I mostly use attack (fire) & utility (heal, shield, leach) spells - and those rock.

So far, with 0 investment, the wolves Ive summoned are weak, but capable against similar enemies (other wolves)
And I can summon 3 at a time as it reserves a portion of my mana bar.
With some investment I can imagine summons being really powerful.
I havent tried magic all too much since I want to experience the dodging parrying and melee 1st.
Aside from the red priest vendor in the keep, where else are you supposed to get spells?

good info to keep in mind guys; ill def consider grabbing the game. Btw do we know if there's multiple endings? or atleast like, acknowledgements of major choices you've made? Similar in vein to like new vegas or something of that nature.

The healer(door) beside Feargus sells, fire/ice/lightning/poison/shield
I play a cheese-mancer.

So far I didnt put skill point into summoning, but every one I can summon are useless, no health, attack slowly and the bigest flaw is their ai that is ubber dumb doing nothing most of the time.
