Performance is so bad
EASY REFUND... Are modern devs allergic to game optimization ? (yes) they're not even trying anymore

Don't play on a toaster.
Performance is fine, the only thing wrong with the game is the momentary stutters during first assets.

5900x 9070xt 32ram - 90 unstable fps on ultra 2k resolution. Hunt Showdown with much better graphics 144 fps on same setup, Cyberpunk over 90. OFC needs optimization tweaks.

I play this game on a 7900X, 4090, 64GB ram and would agree with the OP. It has performance issues. I play on Ultra with no DLSS, 1440p and lock my FPS to 99 (I know, it's the highest I can lock and not get a drop below it so far) and it still has weird stutters and load issues sometimes. For what it is, it doesn't run as well as it should. Still playable but yeah.

It's really noticeable in combat. When several enemies are on screen it tends to get wonky.

I noticed that the game does not use my 9070 xt even at 70%, in most scenes the loading jumps from 60 to 90, I would say that the processor is to blame, but it is also in an idle state

Changing visual settings doesnt changes anything, difference between ultra (no dynamic resolution) and low preset (with dynamic resolutions) about 10-20fps

explain why I can run doom dark age or oblivion remastered (notoriously horrible performance), something is wrong with this game it's not my rig

It's advisable to wait for some performance patches then? I got way older hardware than you but I should be able to run it according to the recommended specs. You're waaay above them though.

it most certainly is your rigs fault as other people are not suffering from what you are

Others saying it works fine. I have been playing 2-3 hours this morning and still trying to find a balance. It seems like it doesn't really matter what settings I pick I still have the same stutters and fps drops when in combat. (typical Unity engine stuff).

Dunno if it's my rig or the game. I don't have issues in other games typically.

I guess it depends how picky you are too, I am super anal about game performance. Any stutter or frame drops drive me insane.

4070Ti, 32 GB RAM - perfomance is bit wonky indeed on high settings although not all textures are... exceptional quality.
Hope there will be a patch soon - got quite some buggy bits that should be adressed

I'm playing on 9070 XT as well, but paired with 7 9800x3d and game's performance is complete crap. Cyberpunk with maxed out RT runs far better than this.

I'd expect a game with as much of a budget and talent behind it as CP2077 to run flawlessly lol (It doesn't, but yeah.) The only thing wrong with TG is that it has some minor stutters. If you're having FPS drops or bad performance in general, it's not the game. IF you're having stutters, it's the game, as everyone is complaining about them.

I get stutters with any settings, the game for sure. But I also get drops in combat pretty much every time if there are multiple enemies. Which I read others state the sme.

No reason that should happen on a 4090 / 7900x.
