Caradoc dead at end of tutorial

Does anyone know what the consequences are if I kill caradoc when he attacks me? Got his gear etc but unsure if this is a bad move and should just let him kill me

He does give hints as you meet him, but yeah I am definitely heading for a confrontation with Caradoc, but as you would have found out he is immortal, so expect him to be back and coming for you with much improved kit

Oh yes I forgot that, usually you find Caradoc sitting outside having killed the monster. He may still show there back from the dead, or you might have to fight the beast

I'm now also curious about this. I want his stuff and the free exp, but I don't want to break the story or lock myself out of anything.
