does anybody know where or how to get wood ? been doing this quest where i need to repair the bridge and i need 50 wood ...

I'm wondering the same. Cannot chop threes with the axe..

there are two chopping blocks in the Horns. one is next to the training dummies. you use an axe to chop the wood blocks. and another next to the hunter margh. or you can find it as loot as well

it's a bit... unclear how to chop wood but there's at least two spot that Wiphand already talked about, you don't need any fancy axes, every axes will do the trick.

be prepared to rest a lot tho, took me a while to finish the quest from that village by the sea.

Castle Area: Near the main castle, there's a chopping block close to the stash, on the way to the fishing village. If you're heading to the village from your stash, it's on the left side across from the archery area.

Yeah, the chopping block works, the logs respawn over time. You can get a woodcutting axe from the peasant bandits over at the nearby village.

You can also buy wood from thr weaponsmith in the castle
