Lower End PC Performance
How does the game run on lower end PCs?
I played the demo on low with around 80fps and worried that it'll tank when in open world on the actual game.
I've got a pretty dated card on this PC - GTX 1660 6GB.

i have a rtx3050ti and its struggles to maintain 60 on low setting with dlss good game but needs some optimising
Once you get out of the tutorial island performance will take a noticeable hit.
turn some settings down

Yeah, that was my concern. I'm worried that I'm not even going to get half of what I had on the demo. I might wait then.
DUnno about 1.0 (not started yet) but in EA it worked somehow good in later version.
RTX3060Ti, Ryzen 5 5600G and 16GB RAM.

Playing on FullHD so no wide or 2k or 4k just plain HD.

If the dev's did some more polishing and work on it for 1.0 (which I suspect they did) it should run well.
I have a 3060 and it actually runs worse than 0.9 did.

I'm on rtx5080, tutorial area I was able to play at maxed out settings native 3440x1440 at locked 120fps, when I reached main game open world my fps dropped to 75-85fps, I've set dlss to 80% and locked fps to 90, most of the time it stays at 90 sometimes drops to around 85, a bit disappointing considering my pc and game graphics level but its playable.
Hard to imagine how it runs on older hardware

And now I noticed that game doesn't apply my dlss settings after launch, it will run native res despite options showing 80%, I need to change settings and apply again for game to actually run at dlss 80%, ehhh idk if I want to struggle with something like this, maybe I'll just refund it and come back after few months when its optimized properly
Okay, at the tutorial area I'm at 70-100fps, minior spikes down when I first use a spell (dropped to 10fps at first use, afterwards no changes) dunno :D we will see what happens in the open world.

I believe some performance issues were addressed in v1.0 actual game and not pushed to DEMO...
It doesn't run particularly well on higher end PCs so I wouldn't recommend it on lower end for a good long while. Pretty clear the game got almost no optimization in EA, as amusingly the game actually runs worse than it did in early EA.

I wanted to buy the game, but I'm trying the demo and it keeps freezing, but I see that there are people with an RTX 5000 who also freeze, so I don't think it will improve if I buy the game.
TLDR Just give game "Vulkan API" & be done with. Unity Engine supports Vulkan

That's the shaders loading in.

STP upscalling seems to be working fine, it remembers my settings and applies them correctly in game
Edit. STP at 70% gets me smooth 90fps without big stutters or fps drops, I can play like this
