On a Scale of 1 to 10...

with 1 being slop and 10 being a New Era of Eurojank, what is your opinion? Eurojank enthusiasts have had a rough stretch with the closing of Piranha Bytes, and even then they tripled down on Elex for years. Does this bring soul back to the genre or is it owari da?

this feels way better polished vs some of the Gothic days. Much less jank in a good way. this game is more like cross between an updated morrowind/oblivion and a better looking divinity 2 (not the d2 clone)

This is nothing like their games. It's very fun and well-designed in an indie-charm way. If this game had come out 10~ years ago it would have seriously competed with Oblivion/Morrowind as a first time attempt.

Much more fun than Starfield, for sure.

Piranha Bytes needs to just shut down at this point, they don't know what they're doing and haven't for just as long.

4/10. Great visuals and art style. Decent voices. Great immersive sim qualities like finding ingredients to cook etc. Campfires and housing. Combat is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HORRENDOUS though and made me refund

Starfield is INFITNITELY better than tainted Grail. What are you smoking dude? This game is complete trash by comparison

They shut down last year.

Good riddance, and all their own fault. Nostalgia and the charm of a lovable bumbling buffoon only goes so far.

If only other undeserving devs like Bethesda could feel the weight of their own actions, as they haven't bothered evolving or improving either.

Stick to oblivion remastered. I was highly disappointed in this by the 3rd combat encounter.

I could not disagree with you more, combat in this is MUCH better than anything in TES games, by a mile.

It is a bit sad, because I loved Gothic and Risen so much but then they went all in on Elex which was....not for me. And I couldn't agree more about Bethesda, they have the one of the best formula for RPGs and have done nothing with it ever since Todd took over after Morrowind. The only thing they ever progress, instead of regress, is their graphics which have never looked good anyways.
