False. I read their posts just now and a lot of people agree that AI is slop. Its not art and its lazy etc.
I don't think we need to be so hostile against each other for holding differing opinions though.
Even so I'm pretty sure the developers of this game aren't using any AI art anywhere, so it's still a dumb comment. Just because you don't like their publisher doesn't mean you have to spread misinformation about the developer.
If you slow down to take a look at the finer textures on paintings and fabrics, you can find it. Especially the later half of the game. Sagremor's Castle has AI generated art on it's walls. Love this game. This game does large set pieces well, but they really should have spent more time on the finer details
The hands reaching for the statue are the wyrd - unable to cross the barrier protecting the sword - one of the quests talks about this.
