Excalibur ZERO EFFORT
seriously, it looks like they just took some random asset they had lying around...

the blade isnt even stuck in a stone, its held by some statue at its grip... so much for pulling it out i guess?

also, the ornate stuff on the blade extends well beyond the cutting edge, and it also has invisible back faces, wtf is this...

I saw you tweaking out in the ai thread. How long are you planning on seething in the forum of a game you apparently put on ignore because no one really cared about your ai whining.

Arthur already pulled the sword from the stone... that was HIS trial, not yours.

False. I read their posts just now and a lot of people agree that AI is slop. Its not art and its lazy etc.
I don't think we need to be so hostile against each other for holding differing opinions though.

Even so I'm pretty sure the developers of this game aren't using any AI art anywhere, so it's still a dumb comment. Just because you don't like their publisher doesn't mean you have to spread misinformation about the developer.
Arthur has already taken the sword out of the stone. That portion of the game would make no sense with how far in Camelot's future this game is set. Given that, that sword is probably very old and possibly corrupted judging by how many years/centuries it has probably been. Why complain about something so menial without putting any forethought into it?
I mean, to be pedantic, the sword in the stone is not Excalibur. That name refers in most accounts of the tale to the sword given to him by the Lady of the Lake. The statue it is in honestly looks like an arm coming from beneath the surface of water and seems pretty appropriate really.

The OP should attempt to grip said sword instead of griping.

Excalibur isn't even the sword that was in the stone. Excalibur is the sword given to him by the Lady in the Lake to REPLACE the sword that he pulled from the stone.

If you slow down to take a look at the finer textures on paintings and fabrics, you can find it. Especially the later half of the game. Sagremor's Castle has AI generated art on it's walls. Love this game. This game does large set pieces well, but they really should have spent more time on the finer details

Legend has it, originally...the Lady in the Lake gave Merlin Excalibur, which was given to Uthur...Arthur's Dad, and then when Uther went insane, Merlin put the sword into the stone, and until a worthy man could remove the sword from the stone (The Rock of Ages)...there would be no King...Arthur eventually grew up, and pulled the Sword from the Stone which was indeed Excalibur...just sayin.
Bad combat is what made me refund personally
Nobody read the lore ingame?

The hands reaching for the statue are the wyrd - unable to cross the barrier protecting the sword - one of the quests talks about this.
