Crafting in house
Hi! I really loved the demo and watched some letsplays, and I have a little question.
So a player can own a house, and can own crafting stations. When at home upgrading weapons/armor still costs money? Or is it free? Are there any cool perks of owning a house?

Depending on how hard it is to get a house, that kinda feels like it should be the reward for spending the time getting one. No money cost.

Considering upgrading one piece of armor can easily costs 30k, not likely! That said, who the heck are we paying to upgrade our own armor!

Hunt Wyrdspawn for cash. Each Wyrdplasm is worth 60 gold and they drop around 5.
Didn't take too much time to farm up the 20000 and I have 46k now leftover.

it is odd that we have to pay to upgrade our gear ourselves with our own materials ... I could see the cost if the smith was doing the work and providing the materials, but if that's a workbench rental fee then I want to be the damn smith.

Previously you did need to talk to the blacksmith to upgrade and craft items, they moved it to the workbench for convenience. Either way there's just no consistent logical reasoning, what the heck is the use of the crafting skill then, might as well pay the blacksmith to do everything at that point!

Check out your 'Practical' skill for solutions. You can significantly increase the profits in selling to vendors.
Get strong first and then invest in the practical skill. Went from making about 250-300 gold every night to about 5k every night after just a few levels in it. Makes getting the house and upgrades much easier however the house doesn't seem worth it. Basically allows you to flaunt your wealth with decor. Sure, it comes with a stash, grindstone, alchemy station and bed but you already have access to those stations for free in town. While they are all in one spot the cost doesn't make up for that distance, not even close. Also, not sure if it was just me but the bed in the house is bugged so it can't even be used.
