Night visibility
How do y'all feel about the reduced visibility at night, and the night time effects in general? Personally I preferred the 0.7 night time. The current fog effects are spooky and all, but there are a lot of things to find in this game and I can't see a damn thing at night. Also, I absolutely hate the glowy effect on all surfaces of Wyrdnight. It looks like my graphics card is glitching out.

no idea how 0.7 looked but
its lore, its not just night its the wyrdness taking over. thats also why the yellow ring surrounds you. play conquest ( their cardgame ) if you want to understand it better.

also you can set camp almost everywhere, so just rest for a few seconds.

i personly explore at night as good as during the day, only difference watch the map once or twice more often for your cursor.

I would agree, the wyrdness effect around you at night is a bit jarring, and the fog makes it a bit difficult to appreciate things that are off in the distance.

I typically explore exclusively at night for the extra drops, but if given the chance would disable some of these visual effects.

The ring is kind of weird, doesn't make sense to me. I know the character can walk in the wyrdness but would you literally have an orange ring going around you? Also it kinda sucks when you go into a dungeon or something and then come out and its night time and you're just ambushed by a bunch of wyrd creatures. For me at least they're much harder than most things and all aggro at the same time so you're instantly swamped. I would've preferred if the normal enemies were just there, but revived and then buffed by the wyrdness so that it was just as dangerous to explore but also made more sense both in gameplay and story. Don't really mind the visibility other than that ring though.

Wyrdspirits are glass cannons. They do quite a bit of damage with their charge attack but they tend to die in one hit from almost anything.

I usually camp/rest until morning.
use a torch as weapon. it helps you to see better at night/dark corners but enemies also see you better
