Hunt for Wyrddeer

I am searching the marked area at night and not seeing the wyrddeer. I am hearing a weird sound every so often. Dunno if that is connects. Anyone have luck on the quest? I already did the shrine trial

I would like to know as well. I've tried a few times and not found anything other than the normal trial which I have done a few times now.

Better to skip time then teleport at the location, that's a better bet for it to reliably spawn.

the wyrddeer is pretty much at the marker, right below the area with the ogre boss.
big brown one with yellow glowing antlers.

as above mentioned skip time else where n teleport over at night.

Im having the same issue, im wondering if its because i did the stag altar before. But ill keep trying to skip time else where. Maybe ill try like a few days instead of one instead.

Wyrddeer come from the stag altars, no? Shame you can't farm them

Things that spawn at night in the Wyrd have a habit of not spawning too close if you arrive/rest when the Wyrd stops. Its better to let the wyrdnight arrive and than go to that location. It took me a few times but I found one.

There i no reward or further missions after killing it. Its only there to insure you find that stagfather shrine and learn about Wyrddeers
