Is there a date for 1.0

I was thinking of waiting till 1.0 tom play unless its really far off, is there a date for its release?

I thought it was some time in May, though I can't be sure. Its close though. Depends on how long it takes to iron out some of the issues.

Yeah, the trailer says Q2 so Apr -June. I'm thinking it may be Q3 though if there are still bugs.

finishing setting up more content isnt the hard part of gamedevving. once all the underlying systems are set up and work, its just a matter of setting up the preplanned content and testing it excessively for a time. and the basic sidequests for act 2 have already been tested in the 0.7, so its mostly a matter of filling in the main quest and implementing all the new systems. its not like they start working on the next two acts now. theyve been working on them for the past months, if not year(s).

well act 2 was in game prior to 0.9,so it was almost done-ish

I mean, this isn't unusual, there's plenty of games that do this method for EA.

Baldur's Gate 3, for example, only had Act 1 for it's Early Access. Acts 2 and 3 weren't included until it's full release.
