they didnt double the price tho, it was a 50% increase from 30 -> 45$ :)
While I'm playing now, I'm marking this as a late 2025 play game, it's going to need post release patches it seems.
OFC the Complete Game will be set to the Standart Release Price Structure of the Industry, which is typicly between 40-60 Dollar/Euros.
So yeah dont know what you complain about, since Release is in 2-3 Months, and they now simply prevent People from Buying the Game for low Ammount in an Attempt to grab a Game way underpriced.
And yeah the 45 Euro arnt to much to ask for the Game how it is.
Sure it needs still some Development, espacialy in the Polishing Sector it needs work. But with 1,0 Release the Price is Justified.
You weren't following very close, obviously, or you would have seen the many, multiple news releases stating that the price was increasing.
Not to mention the Early Access portion of the Store Page explicitly stated the price would increase as the game further develops, and has, for well over a year.
🤷
>"I'm not a fan of paying to bug test"
>Game near completely finished, becomes full price
>"Well now I'm not going to buy it"
Amazing.
Yeah, early access games are usually cheaper specifically because you're taking a risk. Yeah, in recent years companies have started charging full price when the game isn't done, and that's bad. This game did the good thing.
My only complaint is the price of the player home. By the time i actually have that much money I'm done with a lot of the content.
A lot of indie games do this where they give you a Discounted rate on the patches that come before the final one (the one before release). Subnautica did this when it was new. They even had a Dev blog about it.. Thanking everyone who took a chance on them and to inform everyone they are honoring those earlier prices
If you want to complain or debate about the price because you think they didn't do something correct.. Then that is fair. I had this game gifted to me but if I had to pay for this.. I would not see it as worth 45. 30 maybe. This is because the game has a lack of balance or a lack of testing on certain things.. I pointed these out like how Dual Wield is not efficient because it does the same damage and has the same stamina cost as certain 2H weapons. These are things that should of been spotted and handled prior to .9
Most people try to counter argue its a Casual Game and you don't need to worry about these little things. No you do. By not correcting these things, you are essentially leaving out a portion of the game community.. The theory crafters and hard core players
Any group of gamers no matter how small will always help with the game's survival. So even if it doesn't affect you personally, it will affect the game in the larger picture
If you want to see more on what I am referencing, here is one of my posts that I made to highlite some of the faults [/url]https://steamcommunity.com/app/1466060/discussions/0/591767892517748943/
Or you could've bought it earlier. The 'cheaper because it's not finished' approach was healthy. Now it's 90% done and thus the price went up.
The "poors will be poors" comments are a bit too far. There is nothing wrong with waiting for a more competitive price. It's also easier for a developer to set the initial price point too high, and discount it later, rather than set the initial price point too low!
