Just for People who are Curious: There are at least on top Ice Spells, Necromancy Spells as well as "Arcane" (element Neutral) Damage Spells on Top of Fire Element.
Only comparison I have before 0.9 is the demo from months ago.
0.9 is a major improvement, yes.
maybe because you havn't leveled up stuff?
Found several wands and 3 soulcubes.
At the moment, I’m using a wand that increases burn status build-up, but mostly carrying it for the spell damage bonus from the Spirituality tree.
With invested perks, most regular enemies just melt from the Flame Torrent spell — or one-shotted with Scorching Blaze (an upgraded version of the Firebolt spell you get at the beginning).
The only spell that really seems useless to me is Blood Transfusion — it’s bad for dealing damage, and the healing it provides isn’t worth it either. It’s just easier to use food or a potion
I assume there will be an Upgraded Version later on.
It's very strong. You just need to give the game some time, level up and choose wisely. On normal this is far from a hard game, the big 3 magic, melee and bow hold their own and mixing any and all works well to.
And then. you get thunderstorm. can place 10 spots before charging to unleash hell. and if you get two of them. that's 20 spots.
