It's likely being overhauled and when it returns will not be as it was.

It's the end of the early access in this patch. There will be more when it fully released.

Hours of playtime are always iffy. I usually come out of a game about where a dev says the time should be. But I've played games where I've taken my time (usually crafting/gathering is slow for me).

I never heard sixty hours. I've heard twenty hours per act. But my guess is that someone will come along and speedrun the main story in ten hours as soon as it releases. lol

Nobody ever said 60 unless you're refering to the devs one time saying the FINAL GAME will be between 60 to 100 hours.

Act 2 used to be in EA but they removed it because it needed to be reworked.

When it returns, it will be completely different from what was available anyway.

I'm glad I wasted so many hours to not know this information. So once they add it, all my progress will be wiped and it will be like I didn't grind a character at all. Oh fun, let's play the same beginning of the story over and over...

0.9 announcement in which it clearly says that the current 0.9 patch (omg, an uncomplete game in early access?! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE! I'VE BEEN LYING UNDER A ROCK FOR 10 YEARS) includes only the prologue and act 1, which would take around 20 hours normal gameplay to complete.

Also, it clearly stated as well that 1.0 will come with a save wipe.
