Soooo. G or B? [Spoilers]
Galahad seems like an OK dude. Meanwhile Breandan (or whatever his name was) is such a slimy little rat that I can't help but hate him immediately.

I did both routes up until the gong, and the way Breandan calls you an idiot for not agreeing that Merlin's immortality experiments didn't seem all that bad (because Arthur genuinely did not know his loyal dude was still alive) and outright threatens you getting shot by his Keepers after you don't agree to do his stupid coup sidequest.

Meanwhile GalaChad? His retinue does 90% of the work against the berserkers, he smacks both those fools in their face and tells you he has zero beef with the rest of the Dal Riata and it's only One-Eye that was causing problems.

Promptly explains what to do without any mindgames or hidden BS, and even lets you know what Breandan was trying to expose (albeit vaguely, state secrets and all). B says Kamelot sank the village, but the old man living on the little rock says it was druids instead. Druids are definitely not Kamelot, right? B seems to be a lying stinkpig.

Can't hate the G. He could've attacked you at any point, yet chooses to be peaceful unless you tell him you're there to kill him. Although, it is kind of weird how Arthur's dialogue implies you went with the B route regardless (he addresses his knight being stuck in an immortality capsule, without actually finding out? Probably just a dialogue oversight).

I mean, when you first meet G, hes sitting next to a fire of people who committed frankly not that bad of crimes, that he punished them by burning them alive? So I dont really see the "He seems like an ok dude" part.

But I gotta say, I am not really liking any of the 3 "Sides" of the story so far. G and B and C(guy who freed you from jail forgot his name), all their takes on stuff seem extremely stupid.

C(if thats his name), logic being like Arthur Should have Known(because hes king) Merlin would cross lines, and also his logic of "Maybe we should have just rolled over and died, survival is only an option" seems extremely stupid to me.

Frankly I feel like your supposed to look at your options and go "Why are these my options?!?!"

Not my chickens, not my henhouse (regarding the burning of the guys). I flame torrented around 30 innocent deer just because I needed to get magic up. He does explain that insubordination during war is grounds for execution (every military follows this procedure), and the other guy was embezzling funds (BIG no no).

I agree that the sides all seem a bit weird, but maybe that's the point. That there's no clear cut bad guy (maybe except Merlin...?).
